There are many different ways you can use our services. When you share information with us, for example by creating an account on Firmsconsulting, we can make those services even better. As you use our services, we want you to be clear how we’re using information and the ways in which you can protect your privacy.
Our Privacy Policy explains:
What information we collect and why we collect it.
How we use that information.
The choices we offer, including how to access and update information.
We’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible. Your privacy matters to Firmsconsulting so whether you are new to Firmsconsulting or a long-time user, please do take the time to get to know our practices – and if you have any questions contact us.
We collect information to provide better services to all of our users – from figuring out basic stuff like where you live, to more complex things like how you are progressing and improving in using our training programs and AI-powered analysis tools.
We collect information in two ways:
Many of our services require you to sign up for a Firmsconsulting account, be it on our website or through a storage service like Wistia or payment processing system like Woocommerce and Stripe. When you do, we’ll ask for personal information, like your name, email address, physical address, telephone number or credit card. If you want to take full advantage of the sharing features we offer, we might also ask you to create a publicly visible profile, which may include your name and photo, and other information you elect to share.
We may collect information about the services that you use and how you use them, like when you watch our videos, share links or even comment on the website. This information includes:
We may collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information including phone number). Firmsconsulting may associate your device identifiers or phone number with your Firmsconsulting account.
When you use our services or view content provided by Firmsconsulting, we may automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This may include:
Details of how you used our service, such as your usage history.
Internet protocol address.
Device event information such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL.
Cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your Firmsconsulting account.
When you use a location-enabled Firmsconsulting service, we may collect and process information about your actual location, like GPS signals sent by a mobile device. We may also use various technologies to determine location, such as sensor data from your device that may, for example, provide information on nearby Wi-Fi access points and cell towers.
We use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit a Firmsconsulting service, and this may include sending one or more cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device. We also use cookies and anonymous identifiers when you interact with services we offer to our partners, such as payment processors or Firmsconsulting features that may appear on other sites like Wistia.
When you use our AI-powered tools, including the Michael platform and any other Firmsconsulting AI products, we collect data about your in-product activity. This includes which analysis steps you completed, where in a session you paused or stopped, how many messages you sent, which features you accessed, and whether you reached the subscription offer. This behavioral data is used solely to: (a) deliver and improve the service; (b) send relevant re-engagement communications via email, including notifications that an analysis is available for you to review; and (c) generate aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.
We do not use the content of your business inputs or AI session conversations to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning model. Aggregated anonymized usage patterns (e.g., session length, feature engagement rates) may be used to improve product design. See also Section 31.5 of our Terms of Service.
Every time you undertake an activity on our website or watch a video, our server tracks your usage and builds a profile of your activity. We use this data to improve the service and to offer you more relevant content and communications.
We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect Firmsconsulting and our users. We also use this information to offer you tailored content – like giving you more relevant emails about new programs we release.
We may publish some of the biographical information you provide when creating your account. For example, your username is visible to all members and non-members to read. Confidential biographical information like telephone numbers and email addresses are never made public.
We use third-party interfaces and systems to manage portions of our digital properties. Your payment details are managed by Stripe. We also use tools from Dropbox, Google Drive, Google Email, Mailchimp, Infusionsoft, Wistia, Amazon Cloud, Digicert, Vimeo, Libsyn and Woocommerce to manage our digital properties. Only information needed by these third parties to perform their services is transferred to them.
Mailchimp is used both to manage email preferences and to send service-related communications based on in-product behavior – for example, notifying you that an analysis you started is ready to review, or sending a sequence of follow-up messages if you have not completed a subscription. These communications are triggered by behavioral data described in the AI Platform and Product Usage Data section above. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
We use information collected from cookies and other technologies to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services. When showing you tailored information, we will not associate a cookie or anonymous identifier with sensitive categories, such as those based on race, religion, sexual orientation or health.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.
People have different privacy concerns. Our goal is to be clear about what information we collect, so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used. For example, you can:
Create a username without sharing your entire full name and/or surname.
Delete information out of many of our services. Deleted information may not be publicly viewed but may be stored or archived on our servers.
Unsubscribe from marketing and re-engagement emails at any time.
You may also set your browser to block all cookies. However, many of our services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Firmsconsulting unless one of the following circumstances applies:
With your consent, including opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.
For external processing – we provide personal information to affiliates or trusted businesses to process on our behalf, in compliance with this Privacy Policy.
For legal reasons – to meet any applicable law, enforce Terms of Service, detect or prevent fraud or security issues, or protect the rights, property or safety of Firmsconsulting, our users or the public.
We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners. If Firmsconsulting is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, we will give affected users notice before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We work hard to protect Firmsconsulting and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. We restrict access to personal information to Firmsconsulting employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations.

Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by Firmsconsulting and its parent company and its affiliates, including services offered on other sites and subdomains (such as michael.strategytraining.com and our Wistia video hosting), but excludes services that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.
We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy. When we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve with our users directly.
Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page.
