Business cases are not a document. That is the wrong approach and the most common approach. A business case is the justification for acting on a recommendation and it ends with convincing management to act. Unless the recommendation is acted on, it is not a proper business case. That is what we teach.

The steps need to generate the business case and get people to act. You have seen us use this approach in every program and book.
